Colossal Opera Adeging Nagari Republic of Indonesia in 2019 Goes Festive

In order to fill the 74th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Surakarta City Government held a colossal performance of the Adeging Nagari Republic of Indonesia at the City Hall of Surakarta (Sunday, 08/18/2019).

This colossal performance is a presentation of an art performance in the form of a dance opera by raising the event of the birth of the Budi Utomo organization followed by the Youth Pledge, until the realization of Pancasila as the Foundation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

This work is supported by more than 100 Solo artists consisting of dance, theater and music / gamelan artists, also involving 2 groups (40 people) PASJUB SMA N 3 Surakarta. The music team is also supported by music groups from SMK N 8 Surakarta.

Mayor of Surakarta Fx. Hadi Rudyatmo In his speech, Hadi Rudyatmo said that true independence according to Bung Karno was a happiness that had to be shared. “We have implemented it today, We the Surakarta City Government together with artists and artists present performing arts to be enjoyed by the community as a manifestation of the Solo City of Culture,” he said. Then true independence is a right that must be given and a task that must be completed. Currently the Surakarta City Government has tried to provide the best service to the community. “We hope this service can be received by the community,” said the Mayor.
