Introducing Solo’s Health Tourism Potential: Kasih Ibu Hospital Showcases Its Excellence

Solo, November 12, 2025 – Kasih Ibu Hospital Solo held a ocialization of the Hospital Profile and Health Tourism Services event at the hospital’s Main Hall on Tuesday (November 11). This activity aimed to introduce the hospital’s various excellent services and strengthen its position as a healthcare institution ready to support the development of the health tourism sector in Solo City.

The event was attended by the management of Kasih Ibu Hospital Solo, medical staff, representatives from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Surakarta City, the Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI) of Surakarta, the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) of Surakarta, as well as Among Tamu Solo and Putra Putri Solo.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Ranissa Eka Sukmaningtyas, Deputy Director of General Affairs at Kasih Ibu Hospital Solo, stated that health tourism services have become one of the hospital’s main focuses in response to the growing trend of health-based tourism among the public.

The presentation was delivered by Dr. Anetta Dwi Ariyani, Deputy Director of Medical and Nursing Services, who elaborated on the history and profile of Kasih Ibu Hospital, its modern facilities, and a range of flagship services such as medical check-up, fertility center, aesthetic clinic, and rehabilitation and wellness programs. In addition, Kasih Ibu Hospital introduced strategic collaborations with the tourism, hospitality, and local transportation sectors to provide an integrated health tourism experience for both domestic and international patients.

The event continued interactively with discussion sessions, Q&A, and guided visits to several of the hospital’s key service units. It is expected that this activity will enhance public awareness of Solo’s health tourism potential while strengthening cross-sector collaboration to make the city one of Indonesia’s leading health tourism destinations.
